Born and raised in the beautiful island of San Andres, Nathalie Hooker wrote Hated by My Mate while seeking for a means of escape from the harsh moments she faced while having to be in and out of the hospital with her baby girl who unfortunately she lost back in 2023. Nathalie now spends her days working onboard cruise ships and creating new stories during her free time in memory of her little angel.
